Debt Management
The main route towards debt management these days is via bankruptcy. At DTS Fiancial, we see this as sweeping the problem under the rug--it doesn't fully solve the problem. Instead of declaring bankruptcy, work with us and we'll help you reduce the amount of your debt.
How? With a bankruptcy, a creditor is never going to be repaid for certain debts. This is one of the main aspects working in our favor. A creditor would rather have some of the debt paid off than lose the debt entirely to a bankruptcy filing. This fact help the creditor decide to lower the amount of your debt.
Collection Agencies
If a debt becomes truly delinquent, a collection agency will become involved. Creditors know that collection agencies are not free. They will take a commission of 20 percent or even more off of a debt, meaning they won't be able to get the debt repaid in full anyway. When working with a collection agency, they'll receive the same amount or less than what would be achieved through a negotiation with DTS Financial.
