When working with our debt management service, it is important to be upfront about all of your current difficulties. If there are health issues leading to major medical bills, or if you have been let go from a job when the company downsized, these are two major issues that can work in your favor. Creditors are more sympathetic to certain kinds of hardship.

This does not mean we cannot reach a settlement if you do not fall into one of these categories. To us, the sheer fact that you are looking at a mountain of debt is reason enough to fight for you. Just know that the more you tell us about your financial and personal situation, the better case we can make to a creditor.

If we can tell the creditor many details of your situation--beyond the dollars and cents--we can more effectively negotiate a settlement. We have heard some very dire stories in our time--it only strengthens our resolve. So don't be timid about telling us your story. We will be sympathetic and understanding of your situation.

This is what makes our job worthwhile. We usually only help debtors with the worst financial need--over $10,000. It is enormously satisfying for us to help right the ship and steer people towards a more productive life.
