Eliminate Debt
At DTS, we cannot completely eliminate debt, but we can eliminate the stress and strain associated with debt. What we can do is reduce a debt so that it can be paid fully in a three year period (as opposed to decades, which is what it may take when you pay only the minimum amount on debts that amount to $10,000 or more). It's not simply a case of lowering the amount of debt, but changing the payment cycle as well.
This is the major difference between DTS and credit counseling agencies. Whereas the latter only reworks interest payments and the type of payment plan, we lower the total payment as well. So while full-bore debt elimination can take up to three years, this is nothing compared to what could otherwise be an entire lifetime of oppressive debt.
Cutting Interest Payments
When you negotiate a settlement yourself, it may be possible to lower the sum payment--though rarely by as much as 50 percent. When you work with DTS, we will reduce your debt as much as we possibly can, and we'll also rearrange how much of your money goes to interest. Remember, interest is lost money. It's the money you pay for the "privilege" of a credit card loan.
When we negotiate a settlement for you, most of your money will go towards the debt itself, not interest. Additionally, your debt will be cut down significantly. Put those two things together and you can see how effective our service can be.
